New Modest Mouse

Has anyone else heard these songs?  I was ready to write them off when I heard "Dashboard", but the other songs I've listened to so far are freaking genius.  I haven't been this excited about a record in a really really long time.

I've heard the whole thing and I think it's really, really good.

I'm not sure what a *NEUTER is. If it's like a cat or dog that's been altered so then can't have babies, then I don't get it. But if he means a NUTTER, then he has a point. Because you pretty much have to be crazy to make a great major label rock album these days. And I think Isaac Brock is pretty crazy. And I think that 'We Were Dead' is one of the best major label rock records I've heard in a long time. O' course, don't discount the obvious Johnny Marr influence ---crazy enough in itself--- on the disc. "Florida", for one, must have at least nine or ten different guitar overdubs. And Brock's words and singing are singular and driving.
