i'll be there.  i saw the show in philly saturday, and it was incredible.  the addition of keyboards/organ to the show really fills out the sound nicely.  the intro to prison bound was amazing.  i'm really looking forward to seeing this show again. they played a few new songs, and a good mix of old stuff.  hopefully the location won't have too much of an impact on the show.

Wow...WOW. I am so excited now. Did they play "Cold Feelings"? I actually love the new record and think that it's some of their stronger material. Definitely in line with their self-titled LP. I am excited that they are playing "Prison Bound". Did they also play "Let It Be Me"? That's another live favorite of mine.

Sounds like you're talking about Christina Crawford, Rhett. "BRING ME THE AXE!!!" Or one of my other favorite lines from that movie... "Don't fuck with me fellas! This ain't my first time at the rodeo."

Nope, just talking about the SD song. Did I spell it wrong?

It's just Mommy...as opposed to Mommie (Dearest). If you don't know the movie, you should see it. It's, um, quite a film.

Great show...the crowd was definitely intense, I was up against the barricade (semi-circle is NOT a good design in my opinion) and haven't experienced that much bodysurfing in years. As much as I hate Nation, the security guys were on the ball at making sure those of us up front didn't get totally killed, but my arms and knees are going to have some major bruises come tomorrow.

So the show definitely rocked...it seemed a bit on the short side almost, but hell, it was Social D and they are still phenomenal. I was surprised at nothing from the White Light... LP, but I heard "Cold Feelings" and that was easily one of the high points, so was "Prison Bound". "Don't Drag Me Down" and "Footprints on My Ceiling" were on the setlist but they weren't played unfortunately. Tiger Army was pretty good I guess, the Explosion wasn't bad either. All in all, a great evening. Here's the setlist:

 Ring of Fire
 Reach For the Sky
 Under My Thumb
 Highway 101
 Mommy's Little Monster
 The Creeps
 Cold Feelings
 When She Begins
 Don't Take Me For Granted
 Prison Bound
 Telling Them
 Making Believe
 Sick Boy
 Ball and Chain
 -------------------------
 Nickels and Dimes
 Story of My Life

I had a great time as well, but for the first 20 or so minutes I thought I was either going to pass out or puke. The crowdsurfing was way out of hand in my opinion. I told the security guys that they should have a 3 times you're out policy. I managed OK, but the girl next to me was really getting crushed and she got kicked in the head (as did I). That being said, "Cold Feelings" was incredible to hear. I was also happy to har a couple new songs like "Nickels and Dimes" and "Highway 101", which were great.

I think the ironic/funny part is that Erik Estrada looks about as queer as you can get in that picture.

I can see the "humor"...and though I can be politically incorrect sometimes too, I just fail to see the context of it and think it's pretty lame for someone to just randomly put it up there.
