Seconded.

The closest they're playing is Philly at a club called Transit, but I think it's private. I can't find any info about tickets.

Hehe, and I thought I was the only one who had a text file to keep track of shows.   :D

Saw him (again) last month in Portland and the band was awesome. They played a sweet cover of the Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers." Of course, I'm not exactly the most "fair and balanced" person when it comes to Pete Yorn.

my schedule used to be a text file that i kept on my work laptop, but i got tired of sending it out to my slacker friends who couldn't be bothered to look up shows themselves - so now my concert schedule is a Google Doc that is publicly viewable (and now the slackers actually have to look up a bookmark).

If I lived closer to DC, I'd go to a lot more shows than I do.  As it is, I end up passing on many shows I'd like to see because I just don't feel like driving all the way down there and then back up, especially on weeknights.  I was planning on seeing Maria Taylor tonight, for example, and ended up deciding not to go.  So it's hard for me to be definite on shows most of the time.  My concert schedule changes constantly as a result.  What really sucks is that I'm often reluctant to buy tickets for a show very far in advance.  Anyway, here's what I've got right now.  Bolded ones are as definite as possible for me, meaning that in most cases I actually have tickets for them.

Portland board time, but do you like the Doug Fir? So many shows are there but I dont go that often because I just dont care for it.  Or maybe just because I am not that close to it.  I much prefer Dantes or the Towne Lounge, they just dont get that many shows.

Just when I thought I knew where all these shows are taking place, I'm lost on a few postings.

Do May Say Think - Memory loss - local band?

renton - nice to see someone going to the Sammies' show at BC! (Forumites at holiday party - they are on one of the samplers from SXSW)

Reod Dai - I'm with you re: distance and weeknights. Lack of money too. I'd like to go to RnR Hotel, sounds sketchy over there. Sucks for me. My list won't encompass half the stuff I want to see.
 Sorry for the crosstalk...

I planned for Autumn Defense tonight, waivering due to work.
 Jack Harlan - Iota 3/21
Cali - Largo, SoHo, house concert, etc. (*waves to vansmack*)
 Josh Rouse - tentative
 Ben Gibbard/David Bazan
 Walkmen/Kaiser Chiefs
Peter Bradley Adams - Iota 4/16
 Air
 Bags' B-day   :p
 Joseph Arthur
edit: don't forget about Pharmacy Prophets at Iota this Friday!

I'd be amazed to see how many shows you went to if you lived closer!
