As much as I love Gary Oldham, I fully agree on the too old part at this stage. He's good enough to get past the Britishness. Didn't know Iggy was Jewish; not that I care one way or the other.
Actually, it really depends on what side of life they choose to feature within the film. I would assume that they will spend a lot of time exploring Iggy's earlier days and how he became a Rock star. Therein, you need a younger actor.
Wonder if they'll have to hire a stunt man for some of Iggy's stage antics?
I just don't see it at all using Elijah. I have no ill feelings towards the guy at all but he is just so wrong for the part. Then again, they could have gone with Frankie Munuz. :roll: All is not right in Hollywood.
