Go for the GoGo at the 9:30 saturday.  Chuck Brown like the other famous Brown in music is great.  Should be a hopping show.

Seriously though Rhett and Celeste, I want to live the life of a real urbanite hipster on Saturday....where do you two go on Saturday nights. Let me feel what it's like to be a big city slicker...

Well we had thoughts of going to Old Dominion Speewday for some racing. As it is, we're thinking now we may turn in around 10 so we can get up early and go to Old Rag for some hiking Sunday.

Did that hike and there was a little black bear hanging out by the trail.  Looked like a big dog but walked like a bear.  When I first mentioned it to the people I was hiking with, they laughed thinking I was joking.

I thought you metropolitans would be turning the fire hydrant on outside your condo to run through the water to stay cool while the neighborhood kids play double-dutch in the street, then in the evening go to some nouvo restaurant to eat something most of us have never heard of, catch an unkown indie band in a hipster bar before finishing the night off with a $10 coffee in a coffee shop known only to the locals, stop by the 24 hour bookstore before flagging a yellow cab down back home.

No.  In true American fashion, those who live in the city get out of the city in their spare time, while those that live outside the city go into it.

From Rhett and Celeste's comments on other topics I just assumed it was their lifestyle.

I would love to live in New York, but only if I was filthy rich.

If I won't pay $25 for a concert t-shirt, I sure as fuck aint gonna pay $10 for a coffee. Hell, I've never even had a cup of coffee in my whole life.

And we go see nationally known alt-country bands, usually in the burbs, not unknown indie bands.

And with a baby on the way in a few years, it would be sort of foolish to buy a condo.

I think you're projecting, Mr. Mank.
