I pay up to the letter of the law, so in addition to the gift card you'll be getting pleasant missives about the Lions, and all things Michigan for at least a couple more weeks, unless the combined record of the lions, raiders, and ummm Wolverines doesn't add up to three wins by midseason.

If you want to be useful, throw some Red Wings training camp updates in there. Will we sign Brett Sopel or is Meech coming up from Grand Rapids as defenseman 7? If we send him back down, will he clear waivers? How does Ericcson look?

Let's see . . . they say there's a fine line between genius and crazy, and there is a very fine line between picking the Raiders (sight unseen) and crazy.  If my basic algebra is correct, by the transitive theory, picking the Raiders is genius.  A losing pick, but genius.  So you have that going for you, which is nice.
