I saw the February 2006 show and won't miss another.  They are an incredible band in an increasingly barren landscape of rock and roll.  By the way, Howl was an excellent album and considering each album of theirs is very different it's hard to decide which is "the best".

eh, the more I like the main act, the more insufferable the opening acts seem.

The show wasn't bad, but I found it a bit flat.  Part of that may be that I am not so keen on the new material; but even the older stuff sounded uninspired.  All in all, not bad, but definitely not as good as the other times I have seen them.

i wish they'd played 'stop' and 'cold wind', but aside from that, i loved it. Thank God someone asked for 'love burns' and 'spread your love' during the encore.

I was thinking the exact opposite.

i thought it was a good gig, they seemed a bit tired which is understandable. i was really happy to hear red eyes and tears and promises was cool as well. not the best time i've seen them but i still had a blast! i enjoyed seeing the cobbs again and was fun to play on stage with the first band
 here is the setlist i saw posted on brmc website
  <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v719/MissBlueLovesYou/d0f4fb598cb002c0023ec859fb5c7b6e.jpg" alt=" - " />
 encore i think was Shuffle Your Feet, 6 Barrel Shotgun, Red Eyes and Tears, White Palms, Spread Your Love and Heart + Soul

hellooo.  I was there.  and I thought it was amazink, as per BRMC's usual.  Not their best show I've been to, but still rockin.  And how long was it, 2 hours or more?  I didn't look at the time.  How sweet of them to ask for requests and keep playing...Rob was apparently not eager to stop.  They are an awesome live band, in my opinion, and I live for their shows.  (It's been nearly a year since I went to a concert!)  It was a bit trippy, as I've seen all but 2 DC BRMC shows as well as elsewhere, and have ALWAYS stood smack in front of Robert, usually in the first or second row, and this time I was in front of Peter.  I have to say I prefer Robert's side, no offense Peter.  Old habits die hard, you know.

 Personally, I have never been so Goddamn hot in my life.  My fault for not being able to control my own rockin-out.  Apologies to those who were around me.  The redhead with a ponytail in the second row..I'm sure if you were around me you Know Who I Was.

 D...were you the fill-in keyboardist?  awesome!!!  can I have your autograph?  :D

Samantha...

 So you were that girl rocking out something fierce a little to the right of center stage in the 2nd row?   With red hair?  I kept thinking how great it was to see someone that into the show, way to not be indie-cool whilst standing hands folded across chest!

 D.  you rocked up there...i'm sure i'll see you in some other queue somewhere soon.

Legendary?  DEAR GOD I hope not.  But I am from days gone by.

 I finally got a desk job where I get to talk on message boards all day long!  So maybe I'll be visiting here more often...unfortunately I rarely go out to any concerts or listen to new music or anything, so I probably won't be able to contribute much.  I'm a huge loser, but that's good cause I like videogames too much.

 And yes, I probably was that chick.  Red ponytail, black tunic, rockin the fuck out and overheated.  I would be embarrassed of my behaviour, but it was completely out of my power.  I wish I could blame it on drugs or alcohol, though.

 where were you?  I didn't accidentally molest you or anything did I?
