FYI folks, I saw Morrissey in July in Chicago...it was merely OK, but NOT a great show. I've seen him do better, and I thought his band really didn't seem to ever get into a groove until more than halfway through the show. Mediocre venue and OK show vs. better venue and better live act. Hands down, Supergrass. Plus it's only 15 bucks!!

If I were to choose either, I'd say Supergrass cuz it's way cheaper.

Too many other good fall shows to even consider either.

You have a better chance of an original Beatles line-up reunion !

 Mozzer all the way.

I'll second that sentiment. No way you're seeing a Smiths reunion next year.  There may be a Morrissey/Marr collaboration someday, but not in the forseeable future.

As for my pick...Moz.  You never know, he may not go on tour for another five years.  Supergrass will be back much, much sooner.

I stand by what I said...$55 (and that's before service charges) to see Morrissey in a mediocre venue put on a semi-OK show vs. Supergrass for $15 in a great venue doing their greatest hits...no contest for me. Of course, if you've never seen Morrissey before then it's worth going to see. I've seen him 3 times now and I just don't want to pay $65 for a concert right now.

For the record, the only Smiths songs Morrissey played were "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out", "Rubber Ring", "Shakespeare' Sister" and "The Headmaster Ritual". Though apparently he is still doing "Shoplifters of the World Unite" at some shows. It's mostly the new album he's doing along with a few oldies like "Everyday Is Like Sunday" and "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday".
