What if I don't like South Park or Married With Children?
Hey that's your prerogative.  As long as you're not one of those pseudo-intellectual jerkoffs who loudly proclaims that they don't even own a T.V., and even if they did all they'd watch would be PBS.

My favorite bumper sticker I've seen recently read:

"Jesus loves you. The rest of us think you're an asshole."

I wish all those stupid ribbons on the back of ugly SUV's with the W stickers read, "fortunate to be an American". [/b]

You are clearly not American.

You might be a terrorist or an alien.

Wait! T.V. shows have the capacity to acquire and apply knowledge?

Oh wait I see what you have done you have confused T.V. shows with people. It is an easy mistake I do it all the time.    [/b]
yep, there are dozens of people (but two in particular) who acquire knowledge (often about current events), then apply it on south park.

there are also dozens of people who worked on married with children who didn't acquire much knowledge, or apply it on their tv show.

 it's a crazy concept, i know.

Read this again.

T.V. shows cannot acquire and apply knowledge. They are not living organisms, not that only living organisms can do that.....

You may learn things from T.V. shows, they maybe edumacational. But a T.V. show cannot aquire and apply knowledge.

are you channeling tucker carlson?

again, you sound like an out-of-touch middle-age soccer mom (not dad)

as a voracious consumer of news, watching south park isn't a learning experience for me, but it -- and other comedy central shows like The Daily Show -- are amusing takes on current events, and are most certainly educational for many, many people.
