I saw that some bottle shop on Wisconsin has wicked weed
is that becoming more available in the DMV now?
I know S&B had that tasting, but does anyone have that on tap?

Bottles appear to be pretty widely available right now. Not sure on the draft. One source said it would be infrequent but who knows.

Was trying to navigate Beermenus before posting with no luck
but by gosh Lost Dog Cafe Alexandria has Benevolence on tap (10oz Draft for $13)
wonder how much they'd charge for a growler :)...$80

Interesting. I got two try a bunch of new Wicked Weed beers with their recent local drop. The Amorous Sour IPA was my favorite.

I guess we like different beers??

For that price I'll take two La Folies mentioned on the previous page.

They're basically at any shop in the DV area that is a good shop. I highly recommend this one... probably my favorite Wicked Weed beer.

I liked it but I wasn't dropping $19 on the 500ml bottle.

Stolen from a fellow boardies FB wall.
?Because if you drank the number of regular beers it would take to get you this drunk, people would think you had a problem.?
I can relate to that one

so I have The Can Manufacturers Institute  as a client
and read this beer related tid bit on their site I thought would be fun to share with the class

Go RVA

The first can of beer was sold January 24, 1935 in Richmond, Virginia. It was brewed by Kreuger Beer and came in a steel can made by the American Can Company. This tall cold one?a flat or punch top can?required a can opener. By August of that year, Pabst had become the first major brewer to add canned beer to its regular product line. And shortly thereafter, in September 1935, two beer makers, Schlitzlager and Heilman Lager, introduced the cone top can made by the Continental Can Company which, because it was similar in shape to a bottle, could be run through existing glass bottling lines. Schlitz had experimented with a barrel-shaped can, but introduced their beer in a spout-topped can that year as well.

Always wondered why the Conetop cans existed (in that they seemed so much harder to produce) but using the existing bottling lines makes a lot of sense now

Interesting... I saw Founders Harvest ale over a month ago in PA and NY, so unless it's a new batch it's already at least a month old.

Tried Rar for the first time yesterday - found a 6 of Nanticoke Nectar.  I'm quite pleased by this development.

Are you sure it was 2016 Founders Harvest Ale? They just had their Harvest Party at the brewery three days ago.

I ask because I was actually still seeing 2015 Harvest Ale at at least one store in the Summer.

Also, their website says it's an October release.
