I don’t mind book tours for great writers if they include a signed copy of the book that’s the cost of the ticket. It was even better when Rushdie (another year passed up Nobel Academy???) did his at Sixth and I and we got to meet him afterwards.

Paying $100 to hear Geddy Lee talk about a book at a casino is ridiculous.
