Bob Dylan- Blood on the Tracks

This album and Miles' Kind  of Blue are probably the two I have listened to the most.. they never get old..

AC/DC Dirty Deed Done Dirt Cheap (1976 German issue..sounds gorgeous. why are German pressings always so good for rock?)

How Atlantic rejected this record for American release in 1976 is beyond me... they did release it after Back in Black hit...five years later.. unreal....I read somewhere that Bon Scott almost got fired when US Atlantic said they would not release it.... unreal....

Everything that is good in the rock and roll I live for is on this record (of course they repeated the trick on their next four albums! five if you count if you want blood.. .six if you count Live At Atlantic Studios)

C.I.A. 12" single... this is some Ice Cube/Easy E/NWA/Dre type side project? from 1987

something about a posse.. sounds pretty horrible but a curious musical artifact..I suppose

Daniel Lanois- Acadie (LP)

look what some moron did to this record! The one song with gold marker on it definitely suffers but still listenable... what would possess someone to do such a thing? I bought it used for $1 cause I don't usually see it..its from 1989 and they were phasing out LP production by then...

Had to drive to Baltimore and back today.  Perfect opportunity to spend some time with our newest Nobel Laureate.

For the northbound jaunt:

For the return trip:

With a cane that he twirled around his diamond ring finger
At a Baltimore hotel society gathering

Perfect opportunity to spend some time with our newest Nobel Laureate.
I, for one, look forward to Dale Chihuly winning the Nobel in Physics in 2017.
