The way I read this is Trump took a big wack at Iran on way out the door..took out a bigwig or two...really unprecedented and way out of line


Iran didn’t respond/retaliate knowing if they did Trump would use it to start a war (for political advantage) and he is loco

Once Biden takes over after a few week grace period they exercised a token response..was in the news last week

Biden then slapped them on the wrist back..wink wink..while also signaling the days of the US just leaving the whole area to Russia are over
