Super Bowl picks/favorite SB commercials (come Monday)
« on: January 31, 2014, 09:41:52 am »

I keep thinking of that first Bills one, where Buffalo had the "unstoppable" offense and the Giants just ran the ball, and had 2/3 time of possession.  I also have the feeling Peyton may throw two or three INTs.  I just can't live in a world where the three teams that let Tim Tebow go can be ultimately successful.

Seahawks 34-Broncos 27.  MVP: Golden Tate.

Rooting for Seattle.  I think Denver wins it, though.

The commercials were by and large pretty boring last year.   Maybe due for a rebound?

I think Mr. Bates learns to control his anger and grows as a person and doesn't kill Lord Gillingham's valet when he gets confirmation that is who raped his wife.

I could probably name more breweries from each city than I could name players for each team. Both cities have an excellent beer scene.

That said, more Denver beer makes it's way here than Seattle. So i'll pick Denver.

Go Seattle.

I enjoyed watching them most of the year...

but if Seattle is going to win Russell Wilson is going to have to make some plays..he's looked pretty bad the past few weeks...

This would be amazing.

Aren't you the one that used to rave about Jeff George?

Denver.  The NFL wants Peyton to win.

No board conspiracy theory has ever seemed so plausible.

as much as i hate to even think this . . . i really feel that the conformist country we live in, wants the (white) peyton to win over the (thug) sherman.

true..with probably a minority that wants Peyton foiled because we know we'll hear "Peyton is God" forever if he is not..

I guess I would put it this way: If Peyton plays a great great game I don't mind if he wins.. but he's got to earn it..step it up and play well in the big game under pressure... I don't want anything handed to him....

he'll never be joe montana though... NEVER.
