think it might just work if Beckham wants to go the managerial route, which he has already said he doesn't but you never know.

I think Beck's thoughts on coaching changed dramatically when he couldn't play in the WC and sat on the bench next to Capello.  He's not going to be the best tactician, but he ha s good read of the game and the players.

....and lets not forget his pep-talk. "Right lads, play well and you get to knob a Spice Girl like me"

Rumour has it Toon has rejected a 30mil bid for Carroll by scum! I would've snatched their stupid scouse arm off. As for Carroll, he could buy a lot of whores to slap around with his cut of 30mil so you know he's pissed off.

Should be a fun last day before the window closes. You'd think the big spenders would be lining up for Bale...

the issue with carroll is the player doesnt want to go

they need to replace him, and an average prem striker costs £15m in jan. add a few million for it being an 11th hour deal and youre looking at an awful lot of trouble for the remaining £10-12m (plus higher wages) and an awful lot of risk

having said all that, i bet he's off today

Any player of quality with an eye on the long-term future will have no interest in going to pikeypool. In fact, they're looking to get out of that shit-hole. Except Gerrard but he's a fucking moron.

its crazy

liverpool are no better off than us
they have no idea who their manager is going to be next year
they arent in the champions league
they have a really hard task to get there next year
they still need at least 4-5 more players in the summer

i get that £35m is a lot of money, but to sell our best player with no one near that level coming back in is reckless
