Haven't been to any of these (truthfully, I've been to relativity few)

Bucket List Breweries: 20 U.S. Breweries You Should At Least Visit Once

You need to step up your game.  I don't even make an effort to taste beer and I've been to 6 of these....

Living in California and (I seem to recall) having a partner with ties to Colorado is a definite advantage over living in VA.

Thank you for the first "Most Obvious Post of 2016" and I'm not just talking about beer.

Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh, PA looks awesome
I used to drink at Church Brewworks all of the time many years ago. Super cool spot... I haven't been in about a decade, but it would be interesting to see how the beer has held up over time.

the missus has family in Pitt so we end up there every thanksgiving.  been to church brewworks a few times, last time was 2 or 3 years ago.  beers are generally OK, with one or two out of a dozen being really good.  most of their beers are pretty middle-of-the-road but they always have a few nerd-worthy offerings.  i remember having two different brett beers when i was last there.

A friend of mine designed the labels for the Black Project.  Love their beers.  I have spent a few afternoons perched at the bar at Former Future enjoying their beers and Maria's Empanadas next door.

Drinking some of this right now. 2013 bottle. Holy shit this is good. Wish I had more than one bottle.

Maybe the second best bourbon beer I've had behind Founders CBS.

Nah, not really. Took day off, tomorrow is last day of use or lose. Makes researching toilet parts and watching a foreign film infinitely more fun.

Drinking a Stone Double Bastard and a Fatheads Headhunter at 8:15am in the Philly Airport on the way to the Virgin Islands for Xmas...now that was scandalous.

Such a killer beer. This year's version wasn't too shabby either.
