well this should be good.  does the club own that alley?  is it a public space or private property.  if it is public, i would tell them to fuck off and call a cop if they tried to stop me.

Gotta say I disagree - the club uses the alley (owned or not) as part of their business model.  The DC govt has given tacit approval for the practice of blocking access for *maybe* 45 minutes after some shows for 16 years now.  I think that guy (not That Guy) just needs to walk the fuck around the block and shut the fuck up.

Gotta say - DC was a much more fun place before a slew of self-entitled white kids moved in.

That's the kind of thing vanilla white people who live in Fairfax always say.

In the 80s there wasn't a bunch of know it all's posting on a blog.  It was a bunch of nerds dialing up hoping the BBS they went to the week before was still online.

LOL, I used to run one of those BBSes.  Oh the days of 300 baud acoustic coupler modems, hand shake tones, and having multiple phone lines so one could be online without disrupting voice communications.

(Oh yeah, get off my lawn!)

Why would anyone want to walk through that alley at night?  Do they have a death wish?  The 930 club does seem somewhat safer than it was when it first opened in this location but still walking down an alley at night there doesn't seem too bright.

Yeah, not much lighting down that alley, no reason to go that way. I would guess he was looking for a place to take a piss and was miffed that option wasn't open to him.

Dear PoP and person bitching about this, please report on things in your own neighborhood.

This isn't Petworth.

PoP has really degenerated into a pathetic shell of its former self over the last year or so. It seems exclusively geared towards (and read by) chicks in their early 20s who are completely oblivious to legitimate news sites and the world around them with garbage like the daily Afternoon Animal Fix, Heads Up: While Resident Suns, Laptop Stolen Off Back Deck and Did We Do the Right Thing by Calling the Cops.

PoP is like the Daily Show of news.

LOL seriously! This "news" story is so laughable.

Reminds me of "Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me!"
