Bands that you might want to see play one album during a show:
Smiths s/t
Stone Roses s/t
Teenage Fanclub -bandwagonesque
Sonic Youth - Goo
Waterboys - this is the sea
Echo and the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain
Happy Mondays - Pills thrills and bellyaches
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Hyeana
Badly Drawn Boy - Hour of the wilderbeast

The Wall was a pretty damn good album-show, but the theatrics were obviously a big help there. NIN doing the downward spiral at webster hall must have been pretty epic.
i'd pay big bucks to see the surviving members of Led Zep perform any album ;D

Drive By Truckers-Southern Rock Opera.

Zep is a perfect example of a band you would not want to see do an entire album.. they have at least 5 perfect albums with the others being just one step below.. they are chock full of great songs throughout their entire career and no particular album sticks out as being the "best"

Elvis Costello/Brodsky Quartet - The Juliet Letter
-
TSM - No Here Is Nowhere
-
Tom Waits - Nighthawks At The Diner

Not likely to happen again, but Love's 'Forever Changes' never gets old and the live cd/dvd is stunning.
Truly the gold standard of albums re-done live.

yes considering Arthur Lee is dead I don't think its too likely...

I would attend a Trapped in the Closet Broadway show. Does this count?

Saw this at the Birchmere. The most amazing live show I've ever seen. Jaw-dropping. Stunning.
I'm pretty sure no show I'll ever see will come close.

Co-signed on Chaz's experience, even my wife who is a very casual Love listener enjoyed the show.
My list
The Go - Whatcha Doin (original line-up)
Soviet League - Soviet League
Stone Roses - Second Coming
Paul Weller - either Wildwood or Stanley Road
13 Engines - Any of them

As for the original question, I have only one answer:
Husker Du - Zen Arcade
will never happen.
-
I'd go to see that. Agree that it will never happen, though.
Can't think of anything else.
-
Weezer Blue Album
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger (so I can hear Holy Water)
Tool - Aenima
-
The first 5 R.E.M. albums.
-
Sebadoh - Bakesale
Helmet - Betty
the Strokes - Is This It

Bu Bob did Copper Blue live and then some Husker songs. Could...
-
Too many Grant Hart songs though to do any Husker LP.
I've been really happy with most "album" shows I've seen. One of my favorites was "the Black Album" by the Damned. The Echo & the Bunnymen shows for Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here were terrific too.
The one I'd really love to see is The Feelies doing "Crazy Rhythms", but it'd be cool to see that with Anton Fier (even though I love Stan Demeski as a drummer).

I have enjoyed all the ones I have seen but as stated in the JA thread, I did think "hurry up and finish so that you can play other shit" during them all. The Buzzcocks albums were pretty cool and have not yet been mentioned.
