Title: Elliot Rodger
Post by: atomic on May 27, 2014, 11:08:53 am
So what do people think of this?  I don't buy the Autism/Asperger stuff.  I watched the video of "Why do girls hate me" and saw no symptoms of that.  Saw a guy who felt he was entitled to everything and looked like a deuchebag.

He doesn't deserve a thread.

But should we be afraid of adult virgins now?  I never came accross them before but at my current job I have.  I know a guy who got his first girlfriend at 29.  He seems pretty happy now.  He never seemed homicidal before though.

theres an easy, solution, to this question . . . trust nobody, keep your head down, and ignore everyone.  plus, always carry a legally obtained weapon, at all time, on your person.

    "I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing....only I will remain"

They're out there.

I am sure they are.  Everything is "out there."

I was asking if his videos were taken off of his YouTube channel, not the internet.

It's an injustice, a crime, because... I don't know what you don't see in me. I'm the perfect guy and yet you throw yourselves at these obnoxious men instead of me, the supreme gentleman.

Yeah crazy that they wanted non serial killer boyfriends.

It's all Seth Rogen's fault.

Just read the terrible op-ed piece.  So Seth Rogen gets girls in movies so that makes this guy kill people because he can't get chicks?  That is the worse logic I have ever read.  Maybe every movie should be a guy sitting alone playing video games.  You know what millions upon millions of guys find girls to date and marry.  At least, choose a violent movie to show that it causes him to kill others.  Or video games like Grand Theft Auto.

Joe the Plumber chimes in:

I am sorry you lost your child. I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now. But:

As harsh as this sounds ? your dead kids don?t trump my Constitutional rights.

It is interesting.  I have a co-worker who is 26 and had never been on a date.  He says he is only willing to date 10's.  He weighs 125 pounds and is very socially awkward.  I don't understand where that comes from.

I don't understand why these guys dont' try to get someone on their level or improve themselves as much as they can.  Working on your social skills is probably the most important thing if you are in a situation like this.

So thinking about this more....what about Sex in the City.  Ugly women who get tall, well-dresssed, attractive men with great jobs time and time again.  How is that anyway realistic.  It gives ugly women everywhere a unrealistic expectation that they will get hot men with great jobs.  Why don't these women go on killing sprees?

Women, regardless of their looks, aren't the violent, vile, fucked-up creatures that men are. That's why women don't go n killing sprees. Put women in charge and the world would be a whole lot better, more peaceful place.

I think his definition of date is not the same as my definition of date.

That one is attractive.  The other three are not.

here's another good one: school shooters aren't crazy, they're terrorists.
