Not always true.  The Ponys show had advanced tickets available from TicketMaster.  I think it's a show by show basis nowadays.

Does anyone know what time tickets go on sale? From what I understand tickets go on sale the night of and I don't want to miss out. [/b]
tickets for backstage shows aren't sold in advance, you pay cover as you walk in... so you can't secure a spot until doors open.  BC's website says 9:00, so get there before then and you should be good.  the back room holds about 150 people. [/b]

wish i had an answer for that. but i will say that when i heard them at the DAMfest i was blown away. met the singer after (drawing a blank on his name..) and he was quite nice and gave me a big hug. a friend saw them in june and met the lead singer after and mentioned my name to him, and he said 'oh yeah shes pretty cool'. hahaha. not like he'd remember me, but i was quite excited.

its funny that in dc theyre playing the backstage, but next month here theyre playing bowery. so i guess they do have quite the following in nyc. dont worry - DC should be soon enough to follow suit   :D

Their album is not reviewed by pitchfork. People don't really pay attention if the pfork reviews are unfavorable. Sad but true. Pela deserves it, though!
