a topic that nothing to do with the smashing pumpkins
« on: July 09, 2007, 05:12:00 pm »
does anyone own the PS3?  i see they slashed the price.  is the damn thing worth it?  i love the ps2 and don't really have a reason to give it up yet.  never was much of a fan of xbox, and the wii makes me viiomit.

i'm looking out my bedroom window, and i see a mommie deer and her two cute fawns.  they are so cute, it is disturbing.

I only "discovered" Pela within the past month. Their latest album is wonderful. Is it just me or do they kinda have a Beulah sound? I was excited to see they were playing the Black Cat, but then I saw the show is (a) scheduled for the backstage at the Black Cat and (b) on Wednesday and I already have other plans. If the show were any other day this week, I'd be there though. I'd certainly like to see them. I'm hoping they'll come through again soon and preferably play the BC mainstage next time.

Yeah, I don't see what the rush is. Wait until you have HDTV and the price drops to AT LEAST $300..

I hear more of a U2 combined with Arcade Fire when they're channelling Springsteen sound. Though a little less mainstream in production than any of those three bands.

It's great. Does anyone know what time tickets go on sale? From what I understand tickets go on sale the night of and I don't want to miss out.

tickets for backstage shows aren't sold in advance, you pay cover as you walk in... so you can't secure a spot until doors open.  BC's website says 9:00, so get there before then and you should be good.  the back room holds about 150 people.
