i havent been to iota in years, but its always been pretty nice and calm. it is really cool that they let your son stay. i clicked on this thread thinking it was going to be another 'complain about a venue' thread

I am a firm believer in posting about positive experiences I have as much as I would (if not more than) the crappy ones.  Kind of feel I don't have a right to 'file a complaint' without giving equal weight to forwarding a compliment.

I'd like to go back to IOTA myself. The studio I used to record at was a few blocks away. Nice venue. Wish they did more hip hop though.

I saw some horrible jam band / hip hop band there a while back.  Opening for Cartel/Cedars?
