I used to love the Lips, but I grew out of them in a big way.

Their concerts have just gotten too ridiculous, and scripted.  It's not a good thing, despite what Wayne seems to think.

Speaking of Wayne, I like him, but the dude needs to shut the fuck up more often.  They could play 3 more songs a night if he'd keep his banter to a minimum.

^^^ That is exactly how I feel. I came late to the lips (Yoshimi) and was so fucking excited to see them in 03. My first Lips show, I saw What is the Light?--->The Explorer. I guarantee that will never happen again, and that SUCKS. Now, it's just the same old shit. Wasted fucking potential.

Yea, I saw them at the first Vfest, and it was an amazing show.

But I wouldn't go out of my way to see them again.  'Nuff said.
