the first because of the internet hype... the other well because (shuffles feet) i'm suppose to you know (looks over shoulder) but end up falling for quality pop like this everytime.

I'm with you on the Kylie album, although, beyond the singles, the Annie disc didn't do anything for me.  
 
 Still, I wanted to hate this, but I'll be damned if it isn't a fairly fun album:

I could not stand everything I had heard from them before this album. Corin's voice irritated the hell out of me, but I decided to give this record a chance to see what all the fuss was about, and because I'm a Dave Friddmann fan. Her voice still bothers me sometimes, but damn - this album RAWKS!

The Libertines.  Dang they are catchy in a Television Personalities way, but the coking of Katie Moss is just so wrong.
