 I thought with all the hype there must have been something wrong with it and was ready to trash it but...damn that's a good record.

 They come across as poseur tools . . . but darnit the songs are good.  I think a lesson is never bet against anything Alan Moulder is involved with.

I think 95% of the bands out there come out as poseur tools.  Even our favorites.
