It's not a new feature. You could do it all along. I've done it a couple times myself before the new board changes.

 No Jaguar, you must be thinking of another board. I always mis-spelt topics and was always frustrated I couldn't rectify the problem.
 
 Now the moderators are frustrated with Dupek changing titles..... If he could have done it before I am sure he would have.
