never said i don't like the music. i do like the music - that is why i'll be at the club tonight. also never said i don't like the people (making fun of <> not liking), what i don't like is having so many packed in for what is obviously a dance show where space would be nice. in my fantasy world, they'd only sell 700 tickets to tonight's show instead of 1200, or play a much larger GA venue where one could choose to find some dancing space at the back of the crowd.
i'm not in town on weekends. i wasn't at the MEN show (whatever that was) at the BC. 1/4 full is too little, but definitely better than 110% full. i try to limit my comments to shows that i've actually attended (i'll never be a writer for maxim
).
last year, Hot Chip played a non-sold-out show at the 930, on a sunday evening i believe. plenty of room to groove - it was awesome.
