i tried at 11:30 obviously no luck. Any one got the fan club password or is too late for that. Funny thing is I tried seeing if i could get a Who ticket today and best available was front front floor section 2 dead middle. Thinking about seeing the who also after playing their best hits on rock band I think I may like them more than black sabbath?

when you "Check in" at show they will swipe your credit card and you will get your hard ticket equivalent.

I logged on at 10am and it took a while to get through.  I pulled tickets in the 400 sections as "best available" and put them back several times. When I bought the new CD with the tickets and selected floor seats, I was offered sections 5 and 6  (when I tried for floor seats without the CD I got the "not available" page). This was around 10:40am also. I guess the fan club allocation got the best seats.

Yeah I went and looked at the seats for The Who and they still have floor seats available.  However those cost freaking 200 bucks.  That's nuts.  Glad I saw them at VFest.  I hope the ACDC show will be good.

Otherwise known as 'the Corporate Lounge'.

Though it is not intentional, it's times like this that I am very happy that I tend to prefer much more obscure music.

Yeah, we may be among the fans trying to figure this whole paperless ticket thing out.  I got tickets while on the phone with a friend in NYC -- I got four tickets in section 119 (anyone think it's too far back on the side of the stage?), and he got four tickets on the floor near the back.  His are paperless tickets.  He's moving to San Fran but is planning to come to DC for the show, but if he can't make it, what will we do??

These were just regular sale floor seats that were only available paperless.

If anyone has seen the more "premium seating," is it ALL paperless?  I read as many as 3,000 tickets per show would be.  So, does that mean all of the floor, and best lowers, or can you choose other delivery options if it's not via fan club?

one potential way of dealing with your friend not being able to make it, if that is the case, is to ask him to cancel his credit card.  the bank sends him a new one, and you grab the old one to show on your way in to the venue.  this plan assumes they don't ask for ID along with the CC.

If they're swiping the credit cards (as Hutch suggested), the cancelled card would no longer be swipe-able.

I've got this vision of Sweetcell trying this out at the club. Card is cancelled and accidently assumed by the company as stolen. The person at the window swipes the card which leads to a chain of over-zealous law enforcement manuevers. Next thing you know, Sweetie is surrounded by the DC Swat team. "Put the card down, son."

Is it any wonder why I enjoy Walkonby's posts?   :D

you will definetly need your ID and credit card under same name to get tickets

the question is: when will you get hard tickets? before you go in or once you've gone in..

i think once you have hard tickets you can switch up etc..

i have tickets on floor and lower levels and we plan to do a switch..

 i don't anticipate problem

i'll also be at tour opener in wilkes barre october 28th so i will report on how the system works!

FYI - I was just able to pull up tickets for this.  They suck, but at least they're available.
