Schmidt was in the driver seat then lost it, Johnson blew it the other night against Colorado. I just don't see how you can't give it to Clemens at 18-4 and a good ERA. That stadium is very hard to pitch in also. And the fact he's 42 years old. Just give him one more before he retires.

Agreed, but unfortunately baseball writers seem preoccupied with win-loss records and a team's playoff chances. Clemens will probably win the Cy because of those two factors. Seems similar to what happened with Pat Hentgen and Andy Pettite in the mid 90's (96 I think), except then Hentgen won the Cy.
 
 Johan Santana should be a walk in the AL.
