This is why the setlist didn't really matter in Reading...  Seeing Eddie leaping about stage like he was 19 year fronting his first punk band. Everyone in the venue was motivated for a great show.

Kosmette and I agreed that after seeing Pearl Jam rip it up in a <10K venue with a straight ahead rock show, how great a U2 show would be in same vein.  Revovling setlists, no heart shaped stage, no video screens is the way to go.

Everyone does, apparently. I believe I've seen both Slobberbone and Matthew Sweet do pretty rousing versions.

There was a time in the late 90's that I couldn't go to a show without there being a Neil Young cover. Not that that's a bad thing.

Has Neil been playing at all the Pearl Jam VFC shows?

Do you think there is any chance he'll show up at the finale?
