Where were you?  I was right next to the drunk girl in the center...
I was off to the right.

Kudo to all who went.  Really hate that I missed this.

Have neither seen him nor attended a show there.  This would have been perfect.

but not as incredible as Thao with the get down stay down  ;D

Having seen both artists I would say Thao is lot more exciting.  Of course Thao is pretty incredible.  Hard to compete with her.

to be fair to Nick I mostly just know his Birthday Party stuff.  Really haven't kept up with his solo career.  Only ever had two of his solo albums.  Thao on the other hand...

You are missing out.  I watched some Thao on youtube.  Super cute, but nowhere near the show that was last night.

Were you the one that he basically dragged up from the second row to the front?  I thought that the lady on the balcony was particularly annoying, but that is just a small quibble.

Highlight for me was, as always, Mercy Seat, but I just never get tired of that song.  I was really surprised at how well Love Letters and God is in the House came off.

yes, that would be the one on the balcony.  Nick dealt with it pretty well all things considered, he did laugh once at her.

I seriously thought that woman was going to throw her clothes onstage.

I was next to the drunk girl who asked him if he wanted a shot (as she was drinking from a thermos the whole time).

Next to the girls he dragged to the front row...

My husband and I were slightly scared at first of being that close, so he probably didn't want to scare us...He is imposing!  (in a good way)

I was more worried she was going to fall over the balcony.  My favorite part about her was when he asked about her husband and she started pointing to some poor guy.

I didn't notice the woman with the thermos, but I was on the right aisle.

Nick Cave -midshow- made some comment about how he'd just realized they weren't at the 930..

when was the last time Cave played the DC area and it wasn't at the 930, anyone know?
