I think a good CD shop is like a good bar. I don't go into a bar just to drink...I go because I feel welcome there.

People who hang out in music stores creep me out.  I dunno, maybe it's just me.

I can't believe no one's been yet. I might go tonight and check it out.

I walked by around 7:30. The door was open and there was a Fat Albert LP in the window. However, I was distracted by the fact that the Falafel shop had finally opened and got some dinner, which was great...they have a huge falafel topping bar and a tahini pump to boot.

Anyway, I walked back around 8 and the door to Crooked Beat was closed. Oh well, next time.

You weak minded fool. I actually got an e-mail from them saying they wouldn't be open until some day next week. Perhaps they are still adding the finishing touches.

seeing how it is just around the corner, I am sure to stop in soon, but I am in no hurry to find a new place to spend money

Still not officially open. But they have been stocking shevles with the door open. I was told hopefully by Tuesday. Apparently they are waiting on some DC permits.
