has anyone ever watched that crazy show on pbs called "boobah"  man, go chill out, have a strong drink or a left handed cigarette, and sit on your couches, or love chairs, or ikea linked combo, and watch that crazy show.   :p

 did anyone see that awesome siouxsie show on vh1 classics last night.  is that station for real?  they play the strangest sets of music, then divert over now for something complete different.

dude, at every show there are people of every age who act like assholes.  There are teenagers and there are middle aged yuppies from Herndon who think they're still living in a frathouse.  It has nothing to do with either age or drinking.

To add my 2¢ worth...  What someone else is doing, smoking, drinking, or any damn thing else is not part of the equation that makes my time at a show good.  Hell I go to a show to have a blast and thast what happens.  And not to kiss anyones ass but I have never been to a show at the 930 club where I have had the slighest reason to not have a good time.  Christ I wish all the other places I see shows were run ½ as well as this club.

I still put forth, I can not imagine that Security at the club would ignore underage drinkers.  I have seen them very attentive to such things in the past.  I still await thatguy's input.

I don't think there are *any* underage drinkers there.  I've never seen such things.  I think that guy was just bitter that he mis-spent his youth as a teetotaler, and is taking it out by harrassing lemonade-sipping teenage girls.  Of course, it could be that I'm just kissing the club's ass, which I do admit is a necessary thing for all the free tickets, complimentary flutes of champagne, and VIP treatment I get when I go to shows there.

Oh there are underage drinkers.  But they get caught pretty quick.  I loved a while back the girl bitching that she was thrown out for "holding" the bottle of a friend while they tied their shoes.  I guess it is possible to drink underage when the show is really crowded, but most of them just get drunk prior to entering the club.  I had a friend from my youth would would "predrink" for an evening out to keep the overall costs down.

Not a good idea. We're not in Europe where I noticed that its not a problem. Enjoy a pint if you need some sort of fix. It never failed me before.

we do our best to enforce the rules of the club.  i'm sure that some people get away with smoking pot, or drinking underage, or whatever from time to time.  there is no possible way to stop every little thing from happening, but we do our best, which is better than most clubs in the country.  
 
 if a patron informs a member of the staph that someone is drinking underage, or smoking pot, or whatever, i would fully expect that staph member to investigate the situation.  if we don't see it with our own eyes, we can't do anything about it.  if, in the future, someone doesn't think that the staph is paying enough attention to a specific issue, i encourage them to ask for me or any other crew chief at the front door.
