Sorry I missed the Buzzcocks/Carlsonics show.

A Midsummers Night Dream at the Shakespeare Theatre was also quite a good show.

it was a good show and it was cool to meet folks--Lulu, pollard, walkman, markie and others.

The Carlsonics rock and the singer is Pollard Jr. right down to handing beers to the crowd.

Nancy (oops, I mean Bags) was busy talking to Bob Mould and i walked up to her trying to interrupt (twice), not knowing that Bob Mould was there.  Nice and observant on my end.  she rightfully ignored me and kept talking to her "hero"   :p

Mother Nature hates me! Eveytime a big storm comes through town, I miss a great show at the 9:30 Club that I had fully intended on seeing.

Yeah, I thought the production was quite good...but you did miss the Buzzcocks for it (tsk tsk)

P.S.  Pollard, I've seen those DCMS assholes around Tenley...not sure what their deal is, but they most certainly suck.

Is it fair to say you now have 51 gay friends?

tee hee...maybe.  Unless I blew it by being slightly sycophantic!  Hey, gimme a break, this morning I figured I had about 12 beers last night...(I needed assistance shedding my post-flu fatigue!  I think I succeeded....)

Man, Tenley's a rough part of town.  Those guys are legit for real.  I bet they live in one of those Tenley squats right next to the Fresh Fields and new Best Buy that's next to the new condos being built.

Yes, a great night. A terrific vibe to the show -loads of energy out there. The music was great, and I have to say the best part was hanging out with you all (you know who you are). I guess we formed our own sort of gang.  ;)  A definite pleasure to meet you, Bagster and tooms.

And I got a beer from Aaron of The Carlsonics -woo hoo!
