Who?  Paul?  Paul Gallagher?  Noel Gallagher is talented the way a Xerox copier is talented.  If you think rewriting "Dear Prudence" sixty times is talented...  Noel Gallagher is an unimaginative plagiarist.  All rock n roll is plagiarism in a sense but what does it say about a band whose every album was successively worse than the previous one?

Yet more proof that Wallace is an utter moron.

JOHN LENNON WROTE DEAR PRUDENCE, so I don't quite get the Paul reference.

If you are going to attempt to be the know-it-all-smart-arse like you do, at least get your facts right

The premise is wrong, but the message is probably right - Chris Martin and the boys are gonna bring the tedium.

I think the author may be close.  Its not the 'prententious' titled album that fails, but the subsequent album.  Perhaps the moment 'it feels right' to give your album an uncomfortably shitty title is the point on the graph where ego surpasses creativity for good and its time to SELL.  See e.g. post Mellon Collie (it hurts to even type that) Smashing Pumpkins.

IDIOT!  YOU get your facts straight, you bitter, old, worthless prat.  You see, I'm INTELLIGENT and EDUCATED and can allude to various things.  YOU, on the other hand, have a permanent erection for all things Morrissey and Beatles and can't notice anything else.

READ what I wrote, again.  I know you're Northern and THICK but READ it again.  Sound it out.  You referred to the Gallagher brothers and ONE of them as being "extremely talented."  Since, Noel and Liam obviously aren't "extremely talented", I suggested Paul.  Paul Gallagher.  Their older brother, you moron.

That reference had NOTHING to do with "Dear Prudence" which, frankly, I don't give a flying WHO wrote.  It's still an awful song.
