IOTA is taking a hit in the recession, perhaps other venues are too. (although, I haven't found their bookings to be as adequate after 2003)
Lisa Hannigan didn't quite fill 930, but I think it was a bit oversized venue for her.
For whatever it's worth talking about past shows: Snow Patrol's first show at 930 - about 60-80 ppl?
Jesse Valenzuela and Craig Northey at Iota on Valentine's Day years ago, I think there were 15 ppl.

i think the most sparsely attended show i've been to @ 930 was probably hank III in 2001 (june sometime?).

Really?
Maybe my perception was skewed from my vantage point (filming upstairs in the VIP section) but I thought he filled it up pretty good.  Now when Superjoint Ritual came to town the following year (the band that Hank III played bass in on the side) THAT was a seriously under attended show, maybe 200 at the most.  Dio and NY Dolls definitely weren't more than half full either, plenty of room to move around.
