oh my, hear i go again.  i just listened to this "my morning jacket" for the first time today.  uhmm, it was just one song, but do they always sound like pink floyd?

ok.  the song was "touch me i'm going to scream, part 2."  i just relistened to it.  now it sounds like if the chemical brothers are a gorillaz cover band doing floyd.
 
 i'm now listening to "one big holiday."  now they sound like neil young.  odd.

Pink Floyd does indeed come to mind on a handful of MMJ songs. But not that many.
