Ya bastid!

You are allways full of excuses.

Alright, I will give you a lift, but I will leave at 7.10 from Adams Morgan.

Perhaps you should PM me your address as my psychic powers are always weak on Fridays.

Despite living about a mile away, I ended up not going. Got stuck downtown because of the delays on the Red Line--nothing like the smell of sweat and ass on a crowded train. Then the rain started, so I decided to stay in and enjoy the air-conditioning.

I thought the film was a bit of a dud, but the performance was excellent.  And free Vitamin Water.    ;)

Ted Leo has always been hit or miss with me.  On Friday it was a miss.  I blame it entirely on the sound.  It was miserable.  As for the documentary, I don't think Dick Rude ever figured out what he wanted to say about Strummer.

Anyone else catch James Canty's "Thanks a latte" speech?

i thought the sound was pretty good, actually. i know ted was having some monitor issues, but i thought everything was pretty crisp, given the circumstances. 65 minutes of free ted leo/rx, hard to go wrong. the 5 new songs sounded good, nothing too out-of-the-ordinary, but strong nonetheless.

only arrived for the last 20 minutes of the movie, and that was enough to know that i didn't miss anything.
