There are a couple of cool ones off of South Street.  There's the Philadelphia Record Exchange at 618 S. 5th St.  Cue Records at 617 S 4th St. and my favorite, Noise Pollution at 619 S 4th St.  I used to buy Oasis and Suede 12" singles there.
 
 If you're into dance/techno. 611 records is great.  It's at 611(natch) S 4th St.  You see Josh Wink in there a lot.  Or at least, you used to.  I haven't been there in a while.

For records, I really like Cue (on 4th Street off South) -- downtempo and midtempo breaks-y stuff, defiantly labeled with the old-school "trip-hop"; hip-hop; and soul/R&B stuff.
 
 I thought 611 had closed and was going to re-open some new store or something; I could be wrong.
 
 If you're looking for albums by the Fall, I'd try Spaceboy.  Last I was there, it was above Zipperhead on South Street proper.
