Haircut 100, ABC and The Beat are all great ones for me.

Japan would also be a good one, but I don't think they made it that big over here so there's probably no chance.

Thanks for the info....now if I can only remember the times, not having this Tivo you speak of!

I never heard of Japan, are they typical 80's? I might be interested in that one.

Have you ever heard of David Sylvian? He was the lead singer....they had two fine albums 'Japan' and 'Tin Drum'

They are very 80's, but deeper than your usual stuff, with an definate asian influence...hence the name.

it's weird they filmed a "reunited" concert and everything in Jan 2003, and nothing came of it.  guess their story wasn't compelling enough.  damn those bands with their fueding brothers.

I'll have to google them cause I'm sure you can't find anything in the CD stores around here.

Hmmm...I thought I read somewhere that they filmed episodes for Vixen, The Motels, and Scandal as well...

I definitely read elsewhere that a Vixen episode was taped. Maybe they tape them far in advance and roll out so many at a time.

I actually bought that album for 25c yankee in Singapore. And it was on cassette not 8-track, even I'm too young for 8-tracks aren't I? Never owned one anyway.

Yeah, I know they taped a Vixen episode.  My friend in LA was at the concert that was taped for it.  So I don't know what happened to it.  I also heard rumors of a Thompson Twins one too.
