If you are the one I think you are from the Delgados show a couple or three years ago at the Blackcat, then I would gladly invite you and Markie to a beer, unfortunately, I am a bit far now from DC. That was a fun show.

The Blue Room has been renovated (yes, again) recently, so I wonder what you will think of the new DJ booth.    
 
 About the loft, I would just suggest getting there early and staking your claim to it!
