really?  didnt the whole thing start out with guys missing practice or a meeting or something?

and i dont call 60whatever% from the FT line taking things seriously.  or being outplayed.

and the 30%(if that) from the 3-pt line, which was closer that normal, was probably not all contested shots.

i will give the guys credit, they at least took it seriously enough to GO.  which is more than you can say for the rest of that sad bunch of millionaires we call the NBA.

Yeah I give them credit for at least going. Like you said, they are rich so they didnt need to waste their summer. I don't think going in they were gonna be known for their free throw shooting. I mean Tim Duncan alone is close to 55% lifetime and I'm sure he was fouled alot. Anyways, there will never be a Dream Team like the first, the name should have ended there.

  and drug scandals dont count

so you are rich.  so no need to waste time representing your country?  is that really how it goes?

i'm not talking about how it started. i'm going on what i saw from the games.

so they had shitty free-throw and 3-point shooters. i don't know how that's related to them not taking it seriously.

i don't understand the animosity towards NBA players. you don't think they worked hard to get there?

We have no idea.  We're Doodles.  We pay no attention to the activities of athletes from other countries.

not hard enough.   do you really think Puerto Rico, Lithuania, AND Argentina all outplayed them?

   all 3 of them?

whatever, weren't you getting sick of winning every damn year anyway?

I don't pay attention to basketball.  The original Dream Team dominated, but I thought the Lithuanian Deadheads were far more interesting.

yeah. what's so hard to believe about that? this US team didn't have one good pure shooter on the lineup. international rules practically forces teams to live/die by the 3-pt shot.

i couldn't care less if they never won another international game. i just felt the need to defend a bunch of millionaires i don't know. sorry.

Sue Holloway, Canada, and there are 210 other Canadians that I know of.  I can think of hundreds of others from Japan, China and West Germany too.

Hey, the Canucks invented the game so you can't really expect too much from the doodles, even though they claim the sport as their own....in which case it sucks to be third (at best) in one of your national pastimes and not even qualify in your other.

Tee hee, tee hee, ha ha ha hahahahahaha.

At least your girls do well in their sports, even without the help of drugs or judges.
