Thunderbirds Are Now!

These guys are so fucking awesome.  Anybody else agree?

I think we should all petition them to add somewhere/anywhere near dc on their next tour.

glad to hear there's another fan, kurosawa (ikiru is one of my favorite movies by the way).

I think you can listen to just about all the songs on their newest album on their website.  my favorites are harpoons of love, to: skulls, and 198090 aquatic cupids.

i know the guy who does their booking. they haven't made plans to come this way yet. he knows i'll hook it up if they want a dc show, so hopefully, it will happen in time.

I like what I hear! I'd definitely check them out if they played in DC.

I sent them an email the other day about coming to dc. Here's their reply:

i'm not sure why we haven't played DC ever.. it's kind of annoying, as we
would all like to very much... we've played Baltimore twice actually, at the
Otto Bar... anyway, once we get a new record out, we're doing a big tour to
promote it, and we'll for sure come to DC... you just might have to wait til
September, unless we get asked on a bigger tour that hits the city. so hold
 tight, we'll be there.
in the meantime, make sure you go see our buds Rahim when they come to
town... they play the Warehouse Next Door on the 26th of February.

 take care.

 tan!
