Seeing as I'm a humble alt rocker, they really should have handed it to my main man Lee Ranaldo.

No, Richard Hell and Robert Quine are two different people.  Was it Quine that played with Matthew Sweet?  Or was that Ivan Julian?

i'm looking at allmuic and robert quine did most of the studio work for matthew sweet... i believe ivan julian, also of the voidoids, often went on the road with matthew sweet in place of quine.

the editing on this list is pretty piss poor...  i'm like who the hell is 79 Cliff Gallup of the Blue Caps (1997).  turns out the Blue Caps were Gene Vincent's backing band, before i was born i might add   :D ,  and Cliff Gallup was a major influence of Jeff Beck.  still it would be nice if they had listed Gene Vincent or Richard Hells name in the listing.  i'll be turning in my rockabilly card today...
