Yep, you had a Sean-sighting. [/b]
I'll say hi next time, but if he's sans notepad, I might not recognize him.  He seemed friendly enough and was surrounded by several chicks.

(However, I have not observed Sean while his GF is being hit on at Interpol concerts...I'll report back on that if I ever observe it.)
Sean Daly is NOT Suki; of that I'm sure because I met the former and he seems to be a well-adjusted, normal human who can take some ribbing and isn't immediately personally offended when someone mentions how their favorite band is bland mainstream slop served up as "indie" and "the hot new thing" for viewers of The View and VH1.

in honor of hoya's rant on keane fans yesterday, i decided to stereotype the fans of other bands playing soon at the club on  my (and some friends) rather useless and probably not as amusing as i'd like to thinkg blog.

it's all in good fun. we're all stereotypes. my favorite band is (was) pavement, and it's probably not shocking that my favorite tv show is (was) mr. show and that i think all of these dance-punk bands "try too hard." i'm so predictable.

SD's Official "10 Bands We Really Hate in 2005"

In no particular order. You'll notice a few leftovers from the past. QOTSA will be on this list until Josh Homme gets stabbed in the neck by me. And no, I have no idea why I hate him so much. But fucking Christ, do I ever. That Colin Meloy could use a good stabbing, too. I will go to my grave knowing that Kings of Leon are better than his sad excuse for a Neutral Milk Hotel rip-off of a band.

 The Decemberists
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead
 The Flaming Lips
 Queens of the Stone Age
 The Dears
 Rilo Kiley
 Secret Machines
 Prosaics
 Keane
 Bloc Party

the comparison of Decemberists to Neutral Milk Hotel is way off base, and I know lots of people do it

If Kings of Leon played ball, you would have to replace 80% of your "Ugliest Starting Lineup."

yeah, it's a little lazy and easy. but, y'know...

It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
