with all this make wink up history, I did learn something new and moderately interesting

The gameboard, designed by Bob Bishop of Apple Computer, was driven by nine Apple II computers, each one responsible for displaying a single box of the gameboard, and in turn controlled by an Altair 8800 system. It was one of the first uses of computer graphics on a television game show.
