the 12th planet . . . is a must for all people who accept mental disorder as a positive way of life.

Well, some people just can't seem to keep their feet grounded when reading his works.  ::)

Whatever you think of his theories, he has always been, and probably always will be, considered the world's top expert on the ancient Sumarian language. The man deserves an immense amount of respect for that.

if i were meant to be followed, we'd all be someplace gray and with bookbags, running toward that which is surrounded by fence.  jagalicious, i meant what i said . . . as a compliment to the man.  i own his works, including 12th planet; his ideas are signs of brillance but maybe i am biased because i enjoy all things sumerian.  his life had meaning and measure, his death the natural transition through whatever gate he passes through next

now come over here and give me a nice, smoochity kiss.

Meowwww.....  :)

A lot of his biggest supporters think that some of his work is a bit flawed, not that they can prove otherwise either. It is both very intriguing and controversial. I've learned a lot from him but don't really know how much of it is all that accurate even though we know that much of the details are. Hard to say at this time with our limited knowledge of the existence of mankind. Would love to know for certain one day but don't think that will happen within our lifetimes. Just another case of knowing when to be discerning while keeping a very open mind.

The Points

Guess I should've went to the velvet show last Friday, eh?
Kind of makes a little sense that when Fight Club died, the Points also pretty much died with it.

Only saw them once at festival in Greenbelt a couple years ago an excellent hybrid of punk and garage rock.  Best part was mid through the set, these fire dancers started "performing" in front of them and band carried on obvious to their presence.

Maybe the 2010 remake is what finally did him in.
