Allow me to write a more fitting tribute:
A "singer" from one of those 70's bands no one can tell apart with one-word names, such as Boston or Foreigner and what have you, has died. We have no more idea who he is or was than we know which is Hall and which is Oates. I wouldn't worry about it.
Imagine what a disaster it's gonna be for Hall or Oates when either Hall or Oates dies ... None of those splashy reunion or revival concerts.
But then again...Hall or Oates will be able to continue on as usual with pretty much anyone filling in for Hall or Oates because no one will know if it's really Hall or Oates or not.
Except maybe for their fans, Mr. and Mrs. Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Oates.
