So sorry for your loss, Rhett.  This is undoubtedly hard on your daughter and wife as well.  As Julian mentioned, please let us know if there is a gofundme effort for the kids or any other way we can be of help.

Holly Anderson, poet and artist who wrote Mission of Burma’s ‘Mica’

Holly Anderson, the poet and artist whose “White Story” — which she once described as “an anthem to being disconnected” — was turned into the Mission of Burma song “Mica” on the band’s 1982 debut album Vs., died last week, according to the St. Paul, Minn., Pioneer Press.

Anderson, 62,  was one of the thousands of 9/11 relief workers diagnosed with cancer after breathing the toxic air at Ground Zero, according to the newspaper. She spent three months working at a relief center near the World Trade Center site following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack on New York City.

In 1973, he portrayed Wes Callison, News Writer, on the season four episode, "Son of 'But Seriously, Folks'" on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He also had roles in The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon (1976) and 13 Queens Boulevard (1979). In 1988, he made a guest appearance on Scott Baio's sitcom Charles in Charge as Jamie Powell's health teacher, Mr. Merkin.
