^ not that every death isn't heartbreaking...but man that really blows

According to the statement, Pilcher was "double vaccinated" and had no underlying health conditions. He took multiple Covid-19 tests and tested negative to make the trip to the US for the Emmy's ceremony and back to the UK.
Soon after returning, he became ill and his condition deteriorated over the weekend. He died on Sunday, Curtis Brown said.

We are deeply sad to announce we have lost another friend & brother today, Everett Morton. Everett was a humble & gentle man in life, but a dynamo on the drums. He was the beat of The Beat. We feel his loss tremendously. Our deepest condolence to his family.

I read that although she is dead, she is still wide awake, running around dancing in the nude.

this was interesting to learn
Since 1982, Ridgeley has reportedly amassed £10 million from sales and royalties of records. Much of his income comes from the 1984 single "Careless Whisper," which was one of the few Wham! songs that Ridgeley had a hand in writing; the two had written the song together several years earlier, when both were 16, and developing it further over the subsequent two years. "Careless Whisper" has sold six million copies worldwide.  Ridgeley still receives thousands of pounds a year from his share of "Careless Whisper" royalties.

Hard to believe given it was released as a single under the “George Michael”name and not Wham (even though of course it was included on Wham’s Make it big album)

Really hard to believe…reading about the recording of the various versions of the song Ridgeley wasn’t even around

More likely Michael just gave him a credit where he didn’t need to…

There is nothing to suggest Ridgeley knows anything about writing songs and was anything other than Michael’s friend there to help his insecure friend make a go of it.
